The outdoor pool was a refreshing oasis in the scorching Blenheim heat. I felt like I was lounging in a tropical paradise, sipping on a pina colada. Plus, the complimentary wireless internet allowed me to post envy-inducing poolside selfies.
Reception was a bit pushy when we needed to make a quick phone call.

The motel had modern, well-equipped rooms and convenient amenities like a laundromat. We loved the two doors that provided access to the outdoor area. the staff, especially Hamish, were efficient and friendly. Our room was upgraded to a suite at no extra charge, and parking for our bikes was available right outside. the motel was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and it was perfect for solo travelers. the local restaurant, Roccos, was nearby and offered one of the best meals we've had in a while. Thanks to Hamish and Fabbio/Carlo for a great stay!
Felt special, nothing to complain about.

What a pleasant surprise! From check in to the room, my stay at Grove Park Motor Lodge was fantastic. the receptionist was friendly and accommodating, even going out of his way to provide me with extra data for an interview I had the next day. the small gestures like fresh milk and above-average cleanliness really made a difference. the room had plush carpet, a comfy bed with extra pillows, and a fantastic shower. It was clean and comfortable, all at a great price. I couldn't have asked for more during my stay. Cons: Nothing to mention 👍.

We booked a family unit and it was perfect for us and our 3-year-old grandson. the room was small but cozy, just what we needed. the full stove and oven were great for cooking our own meals during our stay. And let's not forget the decent coffee provided - it made our mornings even better!
The noise from the traffic was a bit bothersome, but it's understandable since the motel is conveniently located near an intersection. it didn't ruin our stay.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The rooms are super spacious with comfortable beds and clean cooking facilities. The accommodating staff left a key for me and even turned on the heater in my clean, warm room. The free Wi-Fi is jaw-dropping, and the modern bathroom is top-notch. The well-priced Italian restaurant and Beer Garden next door are a bonus, and it's just a short walk into town. The pool is still open in mid-March, which is amazing! this place is the perfect hub for exploring the mountains, with great amenities like free parking, an electric kettle, air conditioning. Plus, they're even pet-friendly and have non-smoking rooms available. I can't recommend this place enough!

Very friendly and accommodating hosts who made us feel at home. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and extra pillows. The location was great, with easy access to nearby amenities such as a convenience store and petrol station.
The lack of designated parking made it difficult for us to find a spot, and when someone parked in our assigned spot, the manager refused to intervene. This meant we had to park further away and carry our heavy luggage to our unit.

The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, and even gave us some free lemons! The layout of the room was fantastic with plenty of space for our family of five. We loved that there were TVs in both rooms and the heat pump kept the rooms at a comfortable temperature. The large spa bath was a huge hit with the kids!
The washing and dryer facilities were quite average. One machine leaked water and didn't clean our clothes properly, and the dryer only ran for 10 minutes for $4.

I gotta say, we got a great bang for our buck at Grove Park Motor Lodge. The two-bedroom unit was just the right size for our family of four, plus it had all the amenities we needed, like a full stove and fridge. And let me tell you, the location was spot-on, right near the town center.
Menu for breakfast could use some variety.
